Copyright & Takedown Policy
Notice-and-Takedown Procedures under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) & US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Respect for Intellectual Property
Nebula deeply respects the creative rights of illustrators, cartographers, writers, and game designers. If you believe your original work has been uploaded or distributed on Nebula without your authorization, we provide expedited notice-and-takedown procedures to swiftly investigate and remove infringing content.
1. Safe Harbor & Legal Framework
Nebula operates as an online content-sharing and hosting service provider. In accordance with Article 16 of the European Union Digital Services Act (EU Regulation 2022/2065) and Title 17, United States Code, Section 512 (the Digital Millennium Copyright Act / DMCA), Nebula acts expeditiously to remove or disable access to content upon receiving a valid notification of claimed infringement.
2. Fast-Track Reporting via the Bazaar
For listings hosted on the public Bazaar marketplace, registered users and rights holders can file an immediate report directly on the item’s page:
Step 1: Navigate to the relevant item on the Bazaar.
Step 2: Click the Report button in the action bar.
Step 3: Select “Copyright / IP Infringement” and include a direct link to your original work or proof of ownership.
Items receiving credible copyright complaints are immediately flagged and queued for prompt administrative quarantine.
3. How to File a Formal Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one), you may submit a formal Notice of Claimed Infringement to our Designated Copyright Agent containing the following statutory information:
- Identification of the Work: A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, including a URL to an authorized version or proof of copyright registration.
- Identification of Infringing Material: Direct URL(s) or precise identifiers of the listing, campaign, or asset on Nebula that you request to be removed or disabled.
- Contact Information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and valid email address.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy Statement: A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.

5. Counter-Notification & Appeals Procedure
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification (e.g. you hold an authentic commercial license or the artwork is in the public domain), you may submit a written Counter-Notice to copyright@nebula-worlds.com including:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it previously appeared;
